Mr. Powell, 7-1 Teacher, has been teaching at Divine Wisdom Catholic Academy for three years. He previously taught at St. Christopher’s Elementary School and Sacred Heart Academy. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History and a Master’s Degree in Adolescent Education, both from Adelphi University. Mr. Powell has a passion for teaching social studies, especially American history from the nation’s founding through World War II. He strives to create a classroom that inspires curiosity and builds positive, respectful relationships with students and families.
