Ms. Bonici, Principal of Divine Wisdom Catholic Academy, has dedicated 27 years to education as an ESL, first, second, and third grade teacher before moving into school leadership. She joined the Divine Wisdom community in 2011 as a third grade teacher and later served as Early Childhood Director and Associate Principal before being selected as Principal in 2017.
She holds a Master of Science in Bilingual Education from Fordham University, a Master of Science in Education from St. John’s University, and a New York State School Building Leadership Certification from Fordham University. Fluent in Spanish, she values communication and collaboration within the school community.
Having written Divine Wisdom’s motto, “Sparking Minds, Enriching Souls, and Inspiring Futures,” Ms. Bonici leads with faith and compassion. Her leadership reflects the Academy’s Core Values a Christ-centered education grounded in Catholic morals and traditions; rigorous academics supported by digital learning tools; a commitment to creative expression through the arts; and an interdisciplinary approach that builds problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. She is devoted to nurturing a multicultural community founded on understanding, respect, and service, preparing every student to flourish in high school and beyond.
