Ms. Roccia, Associate Principal and Early Childhood Director of Divine Wisdom Catholic Academy has been part of the Academy community since 2009. She became Early Childhood Director in 2017 and was named Associate Principal 2021.
Ms. Roccia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Queens College, a Master of Science in Education as a Reading Specialist (Birth–Grade 2) from St. John’s University, and a Professional Diploma in School Building Leadership from Fordham University through the Diocese of Brooklyn’s St. Francis Cabrini Leadership Institute for Aspiring Principals. Mrs. Roccia is also fluent in Spanish.
With more than two decades of experience as an educator and leader, Mrs. Roccia is devoted to fostering a warm, inclusive, and faith-filled environment where every student is known, nurtured, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Her work reflects the Academy’s mission to provide a Christ-centered education that empowers children to grow spiritually, intellectually, morally, physically, and socially and to use their gifts in lifelong service, following Jesus’ example through prayer, service, and love.
